Ok…I read this article today that stated a recent American study showed circumcision amongst gay men does NOT protect against HIV infection. This study apparently goes against a study performed in Africa which showed that circumcised heterosexual men are less likely to contract HIV compared to uncircumcised heterosexual men.
I do not understand how one study has anything to do with the other. One study pertains to heterosexual men and the other pertains to homosexual men. Why would anyone think that circumcision protects against any disease? The

American study followed 4,900 men that had ANAL SEX WITH AN HIV INFECTED partner! WTF? Who the hell in the right mind would knowingly have anal sex with an HIV infected partner? Did they test these people for mental illness? People are certainly crazy. I would rather these people roll the dice and have anal sex with complete strangers. We all know that there are sluts (yes I am referring to male sluts) that would give it up on the first date or as urban legend would have it, the secret sex romps by complete strangers at the highway rest areas (just ask our former Governer (NJ) about those). Maybe the receipient of the anal sex has a disease and maybe he doesn’t! That’s better odds to any gambling man.
I shouldt be in charge of more things in life. We would all be much better off. I would never WASTE money on a study like this. What I would do it this:
Buy 4,900 latex medical exam gloves
Place glove on my right hand
Punch study participant #1 in the head
Remove glove
Place NEW glove on my right hand
Bend down and punch study participant #2 in the head
Repeat steps 1-6 until all have been punched in the head
Total cost of my study $343.00 (49 boxes of gloves (100 per box) at $7/box)
Three years ago a woman wasraped in a Stamford, CT. hotel parking garage while her children were present. The woman has filed suit against the hotel and the hotel’s attorneys state that the woman “failed to exercise due care for her own safety and the safety of her children and proper use of her senses and facilities,”.
ARE THEY SERIOUS? It is amazing what our legal system has become. A woman is walking through a hotel parking garage with her children, she is approached by a man with a gun and raped…..and that is her fault? HOLY SHIT!

Some attorneys make me sick. I understand that everyone is entitled to a defense but how far do we go, attacking a woman that was raped with her kids present? This is just another one of those things I just do not understand. How do some of these people sleep at night?
Now, if you are an attorney do not get all upset that I am lumping all of you together because I am not. I know several attorneys including some within my family and I am not referring to the good ones. Unfortunately, it is the scum that gives all of you a tainted reputation.
Recently Nas (a Hip Hop artist) and Nick Cannon (married to Mariah Carey) produced a video and released it to the world. In this video they speak of white executive domination of Hip Hop music. Nas narrates the intro, give an ominous warning and then the video plays. You have to see this because I do not think I can explain any more.

I do not get it. Is this just a publicity stunt? Are they serious? Either way, I think it is plain stupid. I will break it down the way I see it:
By signing recording contracts the artist is saying “I want to make money”
If it was just about the music they would just write, compose and play
When making music or music videos the artist can say NO if they did not like any idea presented to them
If an artist feels so strongly that the image created is not the image they want to project they can break the contract and fight it out in court
Many Hip Hop artists have become multi-millionaires due to a largely white audience
I have never seen a Hip Hop artist act anything like this
If the shoe was on the other foot there would be outrage in the media
This video is just a dumb statement. They are apparently talking about “white proliferation” of Hip Hop but every day I see more and more white kids with drooping pants and crooked hats (a look inspired by Hip Hop artists). I have young family members that listen to Hip Hop more then any other style of music. Black slang has made its way into almost every kids vocabulary and it dominates most young people’s attempts to be “cool” in a conversation.
No matter what the case, there is always somebody to stand up to try and start a movement. Whether is to “too white” or “too black” somebody always gets on their soap box. Who cares what color the artist is or what color the executive producing it is. If it is good, it will sell and if it isn’t, it will fail! I always hear or cross-over and how it is a good thing. Like when country singers make it to the pop charts or when R&B singles dominate the Top 40. Why can’t music cross-over racial lines? Is that bad?
I will continue to teach my kids that good music is good music and if they like it then enjoy it….regardless of the color of the artist. BTW – The current #1 and #8 spots on Bill Board’s Top 10 are held by the Black Eyed Peas, a racially diverse group that combines Hip Hop and R&B!
Most of us that live in the NY metro-area are familiar with the story of Diane Schuler. She is the woman who recently drove the wrong way on the Taconic State Parkway and crashed, killing herself and 7 others including 4 children. She was apparently driving for approximately 2 miles the wrong way, finally colliding with another vehicle head-on. Recently published toxicology reports stated that Mrs. Schuler had a blood/alcohol content of .19% with alcohol in her stomach that had yet metabolized along with high levels of marijuana. The report also states that the levels of marijuana indicated that she had smoked 15 minutes to 1 hour before the accident.

Daniel, Diane’s husband, defended his wife stating that there must be an underlying medical condition that caused her to drink in excess and crash. Daniel and an attorney indicated that Diane Schuler had a lump on her leg, a tooth abscess and a possible diabetic condition and that she did not seek medical help to treat them.
I am all about defending my wife but COME ON! The medical evidence is in. She WAS drunk and stoned! She not only killed herself but her daughter (her son survived and is recovering), 3 nieces and 3 men from another vehicle. If that were me, I would not only be devastated but unbelievably angry. I would not go to the media and say it was a lump on my wife’s leg or her rotten tooth. I wouldn’t go to the media at all. I would be sitting at home not only crying but cursing my wife. Believe me I have defended my wife when I knew she was wrong and she has done the same for me but this is ridiculous!
I guess it maybe easy for me to say this when my family is safe and sound at home but it seems crazy. How far would you take it in defense of your spouse?
I can’t take it anymore! I see their face or at least one of them everywhere around my house. Whether it be on the kitchen table, on the couch, in the bathroom or in my bedroom, I see Jon and/or Kate on the cover of one of those trashy and highly entertaining gossip magazines my wife leaves around. Tonight I saw their faces on my television, whenever I lifted my head away from my computer screen. Then as I scan the news online, I again see their friggin faces!
Why are so many people fascinated with this family? Is it because they have 8 kids? Is it because the wife is a bitch? Is it because the kids are in fact cute? Is it because the husband is an ass? Whatever it is…….PLEASE STOP! Let them divorce, let Jon mess around with younger women, let her “play” the role of responsible parent (except when she is traveling for her book signings), let them earn their reported $65,000 per episode, earn from speaking engagements, earn from book sales/signings and fashion design because I DON”T CARE! I just want it to stop.
I don’t care that Jon has been spending his last few months with 4 different women or that Kate is vacationing along with the kids at a beach. I don’t care that all of their vacations, family trips to resorts, amusement parks, stores and whatever else they do is sponsored. I couldn’t care any less that their entire home was furnished free of charge for product placement or that their new home is a mere 7095SF with 24 acres of land (full home and property detailes HERE).
They say they didn’t do it for money but why else? I can see they didn’t start off doing it for the money but it certainly turned into it. Every step, every shot and every word is built around how it can be turned into a profit. These POOR KIDS! That is my take. These kids have to live with the media scrutiny surrounding their parents and their parents decision to place the family under the microscope of every gossip hound and reporter. It’s a shame.
Please please please….stop it and cancel their show!

While scanning through the news online (I do not read printed news…just me) I found this story published by the Associated Press (AP) “ US Marshals seize sanitizer for bacteria problems” click to read the actual story. Now being a user of these types of products, I immediately read the story. It was great and here are some key points:
US Marshalss seized all sanitizers, skin protectants products and ingredients from Clarcon Biological Chemistry Laboratory’s facility in Utah
The FDA warned not to use any Clarcon products because they contain HARMFUL BACTERIA
An inspection showed that Clarcon had poor practices that contributed to the contamination
Clarcon distributed over 800,000 of these products in various regions of the US
Some of these bacteria can cause opportunistic infections of the skin and underlying tissues. Some infections may cause serious damage requiring surgery

How can a reporter and news agency report a story like this and not tell us the brand name(s) of the product(s)? Seriously…HOW? It makes me lose my mind. Do I have to go through every sanitizer looking for the name Clarcon? Yes, I have them all over but I am not obsessive, I just have gross small children and a germy day job! Now I have to worry about getting some crazy bacteria that makes my skin melt when I thought I was killing that same type of bacteria by using the “unknown” product.
I am sure I can find the brand names with a little “Google Search” but what every happened to reporting the facts and providing detail?
By now most of you have heard the story of the man arrested in South Carolina for having sex with a horse. If you haven’t here are the details (my version of them).

Barbara Kenley caught Rodell Vereen in the act with her horse Sugar earlier this week. Ms. Kenley had her horse stables wired with video surveillance cameras because this has unfortunately happened in the past….by guess who?….Yup Mr. Vereen! In 2007 he was caught with Sugar and arrested and charged with crimes stemming from that assault. Ms. Kenley captured this creep on camera on July 19th but police said the subject was unidentifiable. So this shotgun packing southern bell of a woman took matters into her own hands and waited for him to return and he did!
WTF??????? I am just want to know how he reached the horse? Did he carry a ladder? How many drinks did it take to get Sugar to not care? Did he “wow” her with premium oats? Did she look at it, laugh and say “You call that a C*CK? Did Sugar say…What are you gonna do with that? It’s ONLY 10 inches!

Then there is another whack job Edwin Robles who was arrested in Georgia for having sex with his dog, Chain.
I just hope that these guys rot in jail. I am not an “animal lover” but HOLY SHIT! What kind of craziness would drive people to have sex with animals? Can’t these guys just go to a bar and wait the entire night to hit on the ugliest and most drunk woman left before closing? That is at least partially respectable for the HUMAN FACTOR.
It just makes me more and more sick to my stomach as a father. I have three small children that have to grow up with these people around! I was thinking about getting a pet but now I am not because my neighbor has a strange look in his eye! I don’t need another thing to worry about!..oh wait….my other neighbor has a poodle!
I hate to be topical but this really drives me nuts! “Beer Summit”? A friggin “Beer Summit”? Ok we all know that nothing was accomplished during this little photo-op for President Obama. Vice President Biden was there as well and I ask why? Is he acting the part of the slacker who comes to a BBQ with a six-pack of canned generic beer while everyone else brings cases of Sam Adams?
My politics aside, President Obama screwed up when the said the police acted stupidly. He back peddled and then called this meeting. I know it wasn’t him that termed this a “Beer Summit” but it goes to show how today’s media will spin any given event into a ratings grabber. Then to see the President, Vice President and a Harvard Professor try to pass themselves off as “regular guys” sitting around drinking some beer is hysterical to me. I wonder how Sgt. Crowley felt during this little pow-wow.

I think the entire episode was blown out of proportion. I respect police officers and what they do every day for all of us. I would expect any police officer to arrest someone being belligerent in a home that was the location of a suspected burglary. Why do people feel the need to mouth-off to an individual that faces the worst of the worst day in and day out in an effort to protect us from facing the same thing? I am not saying that some police officers may not always be in the right frame of mind but they are the ones carrying a gun(s), a stick, handcuffs and pepper spray! Yes I do understand “freedom of speech” but sometimes you do have to just SHUT UP.
In all reality, I would rather keep my mouth shut and hire an attorney while I am sitting in jail without a scratch (at least for the time being) rather then the guy at the hospital with a night stick indent on his head listening to all of the media hungry attorney’s telling me how much money I can get for all of my pain and anguish. NO THANKS!
The media is sickening. Walter Cronkite has to be spinning in his grave! I am too young to remember Walter Cronkite’s career but from all that I have read, he appears to have been one of the few “Greats” in journalism.
BTW – The only thing missing from the “Beer Summit” was Rev. Al! My head would have exploded if he was there! Although I am sure he tried to get an invite……

There is a growing movement across the blogosphere to have a “Fox Free Day” on August 4th meaning no mention of Megan Fox for the entire day. Apparently since she has been on the cover of 6 magazines this summer as well as the media circuit promoting her two movies and people are getting sick of her.

Well she may not be a great actress or a decent one for that matter but the fact is that she is probably the hottest person this summer. However why should any of us care that much to start a movement?
This is a clever ploy by Asylum.com to get their blog in the press. Kudos to you Asylum! You don’t have to post about Megan Fox but if I need a Fox fix…..I will search her out and get it somewhere else.
I know this may sound harsh at first but I am sick of hearing about all of the people that may be getting in trouble due to the untimely death of an icon. As we all know, he had an amazing career but a horrible personal life. He obtained a status of celebrity and wealth that people dream of but also lead of life of exile lead by his troubling behavior.

His family is fighting over custody of his children which we all feel confidently that he did not father and everyone is pointing the finger. If they cared so much why didn’t his family report the doctor(s) and associates (I refuse to call them friends) that helped him either obtain these drugs or administer them? Why didn’t they take drastic measures and go public in hopes of embarrassing him into recovery?
He had a fortune although he all heard he was broke. I wonder who is fighting to get a piece of that? The money should without a doubt be handled by responsible people and strictly go to his children and their well-being. I am sure they will all need some therapy just because their father is Michael Jackson. The kids should be the priority of everyone involved but sad to say, I think money will be the priority.
I will say this, I did not like his music but his musical achievements cannot be denied but neither can his disturbing behavior and the allegations presented by more then one child. He was a great musician but a sick person no matter who you slice it!
